I am a professional musician and have been teaching guitar for over 10 years.
I started teaching privately and eventually started my own guitar school here in Scotland where I teach over 100 students personally every single week. There has been many up and downs but learning and playing guitar has been the most tremendous, life - changing gift for me.
Not only has it provided me with a career that I love, it has helped me through some tough times too. I often find that playing guitar takes me away to a peaceful place of inspiration and zen. It's like a trusty companion that is there for you whenever you need to blow off some steam or disappear from the world for a while.
I learned completely online so not the traditional way. More and more people are doing the same and I understand how frustrating and disheartening it can be. That is why I want to help as many online learners as possible. Because I did it. I learned online and acheived all my guitar goals and more. More than I could ever have dreamed of. I hope to be of service to you and show you that you can do it too!
I am passionate about teaching guitar and want to help as many beginner guitarists as possible save years of struggle with simple and practical lessons with a clear path of progression.
Why do many beginner guitarists get stuck without making any progress for years?
Learning to play guitar can be an incredibly satisfying, life - improving journey however many beginners never make it to the level they desire or give up.
For some it is chord changes, for others it is strumming. Many simply don't know where to begin. This is especially true for online learners who learn mostly from YouTube videos.
YouTube is a great resource but with so much information out there it can be confusing and overwhelming. Sadly many beginners pack the guitar away never to be seen again.
- They get frustrated because they try to run before they can walk because they have no clear path of progression.
- They find lessons that skip the foundations so everything is much harder.
- They are recieving different methods from a variety of different teachers which is just confusing
For all these reasons and many more, many budding guitarists never get close to their full potential and a wondrous journey is cut short.

Learn some tips and tricks to play chords cleanly + some hacks to play the F chord.
Challenge 3 - Chord changes
Learn some tips and tricks on changing chords and practice along with backing track
Challenge 4 - Strumming
Work on finger dexterity by learn some cool strumming patterns and practice along with backing track.
Challenge 5 - Melody
Learn to play the melody for Stand by me, includes tab and play along backing track.
Why am I doing this for free you ask?
I love teaching, I upload free lessons to Youtube and my site every single week however it would not make much sense to spend money on ads for zero return.
