This is My Story...

I was a late starter with guitar. I started learning in 2007 at the age of 19 when my musically gifted girlfriend dumped me for another musician. I thought I would learn to play guitar, she would see me on stage one day and feel super bad and jealous. Well that never happened. But learning to play guitar just happened to change my life completely!

Even though I had tried and failed several times before it turns out after some consistency and practice I was pretty good at it and even better at teaching! I started teaching privately after just a few years of learning myself and eventually started my own guitar school here in Scotland. There has been many up and downs but guitar has been the biggest gift for me in this life.

Not only has it provided me with a career that I love, teaching hundreds of students every week, it has helped me through some tough times too. I often find that playing guitar takes me away to a peaceful place of inspiration and zen. It's like a trusty companion that is there for you whenever you need to blow off some steam or disappear from the world for a while.

I learned completely online so not the traditional way. More and more people are doing the same and I understand how frustrating and disheartening it can be. That is why I want to help as many online learners as possible. Because I did it. I learned online and acheived all my guitar goals and more. More than I could ever have dreamed of. I hope to be of service to you and show you that you can do it too!
